Jakarta is a very interesting city in South Indonesia. The beautiful buildings and the beautiful view all around are very attractive for any tourist. You will not feel bored even if you are just spending a few days here. Even though the city is big, it does not mean that there are some parts that you do not know. If you like shopping I suggest that you visit Indahari market. This street has an open air market where you will find a variety of products including clothes, food stuffs and jewelry. You will even find handicrafts and fabrics. Of course, before you enter into this market you need to make sure that you are traveling with a valid visa. After all, it is an open market.

When you are visiting Jakarta, do not miss to visit the beautiful Candi Hill. Candi Hill has an entrance that can take you to the magnificent old temple of St. James the Younger. It has a statue of the Virgin Mary as well as a sculpture of the Hindu god. It is very interesting area, as it was built during the time of Shah Jahan.

If you are interested in history you will love to find out about the Java minster. The minster was built during the time of Java king Prabhakaratra in the seventeenth century. He enlarged it and made it into a palace. Now you can see four churches inside which date from different eras.

A full plate lunch might be a bit too much for your taste, but then again, if you are in the mood to spend a quiet evening with your loved ones, then you might as well have dinner at home.
