There are few places where I can say that I went to one of the most unique locations on earth. I went to Gran Canaria, because I had heard from many friends about this incredible place. I had a wonderful time during my visit and ended up staying for three weeks. Here is my Gran Canaria vacation review.
I went to Gran Canaria to check out its beaches. The variety of beaches is really spectacular here, I went to Maspalomas beach, which is the widest and longest beach in the island. I was blown away by the beautiful scenery, the colors, the contrast of the dark blue sea against the light blue sky. It is really something to see and experience.
I also went to the Playa de las Teresitas (The Old Town), which is very cool because it gives you an old world feel. This part of gran canaria is also the oldest part of the island. I really enjoyed this part, the view is spectacular and the different cultures are all mixing together. I spent a lot of time walking along the beach and enjoying the scenery and the locals. There are lots of nice little restaurants and bars in this area so if you like the sound of Spanish being spoken then you will love it.
Another part I really enjoyed was the rainforest. It is very unique to have rainforests in the south of Spain. They grow in the coves and grottos along the coast line. There are also swamps and jungles like I have never seen before in gran canaria and they are absolutely gorgeous.
The final thing I want to talk about is the wonderful weather and the nice beaches. It is truly a unique experience having a tennis holiday in your own backyard. My partner and I were able to spend some quality time on the tennis courts at the Estrella De Los Micos Golf Course which is a well-known championship course. It is really a great time playing tennis here especially in the summer months when the other course is almost empty because most of the golfers had already left.
Overall, it was a great time and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Gran Canaria. There are so many different things to do in this beautiful island and I thoroughly enjoyed my time relaxing, playing tennis and sightseeing. You can choose to stay in one of the holiday villas in Spain with swimming pools or you can rent a small apartment or house to stay in. If you would like to save money and don’t have much time, you can always rent a motor scooter or a bicycle so you can get around the island on your own. There are also tennis camps throughout the island that you could join so you would have your own place to stay.
We went to the Tejo estuary area near our hotel where there are several beautiful tennis camps and resorts where you can stay if you are staying in Gran Canaria. Our next stop was Santa Eulalia beach which is not as busy as the other beaches but still offers a good level of comfort with fantastic views of the sea. Our next stop on the tour was at the Playa Escondido, which is not far from the resort but is much calmer because of the less crowding. We also went to the Rambla del Carmen and ended up enjoying a pleasant walk along the beach and having a few drinks with the other tourists.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday in Spain with my family. I went to Gran Canaria with the intention of having a jana sportspersons holiday and ended up having a good time. The tennis camps are very nice and offer good quality facilities and services. I recommend going to gran canaria with your family to try out some of the local sportspersons activities.
